This paper investigates and compares economic value added, accounting earnings and intellectual capital effects on firms stock price. The research used Ohlson valuation model. The sample consists of Tehran Stock Exchange firms that report research & development costs. We use regression model to test hypotheses and comparing the models. The research results show residual income based on accounting earnings is better than that based on EVA in its capacity to explain firm’s stock price. Moreover, we also find that when intellectual capital added to valuation models, they produce higher capacity in explaining firm’s value.
